An illustration I made after visiting my family’s childhood home in the mountains of Chongqing. A city that lies between the mountain valleys of the Sichuan province, the weather is humid and rains often; yet so high in the mountains, the air and skies are clear, and the fog obscuring the distant mountain tops feels like a scene from an ancient fantasy.
